Maria Masciandaro, Psy.D.


Maria G Masciandaro, Psy.D., is a psychologist who has been utilizing EMDR and hypnosis for decades. She maintains Approved Consultant status with EMDRIA and the American Society of Clinical Hypnosis (ASCH). She teaches Recent Traumatic Episode Protocol and Group Traumatic Episode Protocol both developed by Elan Shapiro. Also, she teaches hypnosis as a faculty member of the Clinical Hypnosis Society of New Jersey (CHSNJ). She is an EMDR Institute facilitator, a former Regional Coordinator, TRN member, and field supervisor for Rutgers GSAPP. She formerly served as Psychologist-at-Large on the ASCH Executive Committee and was President of CHSNJ.
