As a Jointly Accredited Organization, Amedco is approved to offer social work continuing education by the Association of Social Work Boards (ASWB) Approved Continuing Education (ACE) program. Organizations, not individual courses, are approved under this program. State and provincial regulatory boards have the final authority to determine whether an individual course may be accepted for continuing education credit. Amedco maintains responsibility for this course. ASWB Learner Level: Intermediate. Social Workers completing this course receive 22.50 GENERAL continuing education credits.

New York Board for Social Workers (NY SW)

Amedco SW CPE is recognized by the New York State Education Department’s State Board for Social Work as an approved provider of continuing education for licensed social workers #0115. 22.50 hours.

New York Board for Mental Health Counselors (NY MHC)

Amedco is recognized by the New York State Education Department’s State Board for Mental Health Practitioners as an approved provider of continuing education for licensed mental health counselors. #MHC-0061. 22.50 hours.

New York Board for Marriage & Family Therapists (NY MFT)

Amedco is recognized by the New York State Education Department’s State Board for Mental Health Practitioners as an approved provider of continuing education for licensed marriage and family therapists. #MFT-0032. 22.50 hours.

New York Board for Psychology (NY PSY)

Amedco is recognized by the New York State Education Department’s State Board for Psychology as an approved provider of continuing education for licensed psychologists #PSY-0031. 22.50 hours.

American Psychological Association

EMDR International Association is approved by the American Psychological Association to sponsor continuing education for psychologists. EMDR International Association maintains responsibility for the program and its content. 22.50 hours.

National Board of Certified Counselors

NBCC

EMDR International Association (EMDRIA) has been approved by NBCC as an Approved Continuing Education Provider, ACEP No. 5757. Programs that do not qualify for NBCC credit are clearly identified. EMDR International Association (EMDRIA) is solely responsible for all aspects of the programs. 22.50 hours.

EMDR International Association

All sessions of this event are approved for EMDRIA Credit, which can be used for applications and renewals for both of EMDRIA Certified Therapist and EMDRIA Approved Consultant. 22.50 hours.

Other CE Information

Please be aware that all credit hours will be awarded according to the individual requirements of each continuing education agency. Partial credit of individual sessions is not available. If you are seeking continuing education credit for a specialty not listed below, it is your responsibility to contact your licensing/certification board to determine course eligibility for your licensing/certification requirement.

California Counselors

The California Board of Behavioral Sciences accepts CE programs that are approved by other approval agencies, including several that approve EMDRIA and its programs. A full list of approval agencies accepted by the BBS can be found at www.bbs.ca.gov/licensees/cont_ed.html under “Where to find CE Courses” and then “CE Approval Agencies."

Satisfactory Completion & Certificates of Completion

In order to obtain your CEs after you’ve watched your session:

  1. Pass the Post Program Assessment (located just below the presentation)
  2. Complete the Post Program Survey (located just below the Post Program Assessment)

If you are not automatically directed to these items, you can find links to them on the "CE Info" tab of each session.

Once these steps are complete, the system will automatically generate a Certificate of Completion for you to download.
