Memorial Scholarship
The Memorial Scholarship Fund was established to expand professional development opportunities for EMDR trained therapists who would otherwise not be able to attend the annual EMDRIA Conference. The fund was inspired as a memorial to Elizabeth Snyker, one of our dedicated founding members.
Recipients receive complimentary conference registration for the 2026 EMDRIA Conference.

- Application Deadline: June 1, 2026 at 11:30 p.m. CT
- Recipients Notified By: June 15, 2026
Eligibility
Applicants must not have received an EMDRIA Conference scholarship during the past three years.
Scholarships are awarded based on:
- Need
- Demonstrated service
- Potential benefit to the communities served by the applicant
- Availability of funds
To Apply
Individuals may apply directly or be nominated by another person.
Applications must include:
- A brief essay explaining why the applicant should receive the scholarship, including financial need, demonstrated service and potential community impact
- One statement of recommendation from an EMDRIA™ member
