Session Proposals
We invite EMDR clinicians, consultants, trainers, and researchers to submit proposals that reflect innovation, clinical excellence, and emerging perspectives in EMDR therapy.
Both EMDRIA members and non-members are welcome to apply.
Session proposals may address topics such as:

- Research and theory
- Special populations and cultural considerations
- Professional development and consultation
- Ethics, supervision, and best practices
All submissions are peer-reviewed and curated to ensure a high-quality, balanced program for attendees at all stages of their professional journey.
Presentation Types
Session proposals are categorized to support a diverse and well-rounded conference program. When submitting your proposal, select the presentation type that best aligns with your content.
Standard
A Standard presentation is consistent with the EMDRIA definition of EMDR and is grounded in the Adaptive Information Processing (AIP) model on which EMDR is based.
Integrative
An Integrative session integrates EMDR with one or more additional therapeutic modalities, while maintaining EMDR theory, methodology, and the AIP model as central.
Innovative
An Innovative presentation is considered an alternative procedure, protocol, or explanation other than the EMDR standard protocol, method, and model.
Research Paper
The Research Paper session is presented in a symposium format, with individual presentations lasting 10–30 minutes within a 90-minute workshop session.
