Rebecca Kase is an LCSW, registered yoga instructor, and EMDR consultant and trainer. She is the owner of Kase & CO Training and Consulting, and the author of Polyvagal informed EMDR: A neuro-informed approach to healing. She is an avid yogi and a well-known trauma expert. Rebecca believes that the key to successful therapy and learning is embodied presence. She strives to create engaging, safe, shame-free spaces for learning where therapists can explore, play, and be curious. Irene R. Siegel, Ph.D., LCSW is director of Center Point in Huntington N.Y. where she conducts her integrative EMDR therapy practice and teaches meditation and healing. She studied ancient healing arts of native healers of indigenous cultures throughout North and South America, and teaches the integration of Western psychotherapy with ancient healing arts as depicted in her book The Sacred Path of the Therapist: Modern Healing, Ancient Wisdom, and Client Transformation. As an Approved EMDR Consultant, teacher, and lecturer she has broken through traditional barriers introducing the innovative concept of integrating mindfulness and resonance into the EMDR protocol.

Shirley Jean Schmidt is a Licensed Professional Counselor near Portland, Oregon. She was trained in EMDR in 1995. She’s a former EMDRIA-Approved Consultant. She began integrating EMDR with ego state therapy in the late 90s – inspiring her to develop a complimentary model, the Developmental Needs Meeting Strategy (DNMS) that’s especially focused on treating attachment-wounded adults. She’s trained hundreds of therapists in the DNMS over the last 20 years. She’s published books, articles, and webinars about integrating EMDR with ego state therapy. Her latest book is Ego State Therapy Interventions to Prepare Attachment-Wounded Adults for EMDR.

Dora is a Registered Play Therapist Supervisor (RPT-S) and Licensed Mental Health Counselor Qualified Supervisor (LMHC-QS), specializing in integrating the power of play with EMDR and the integration of neuroscience with play therapy. She is also a TraumaPlay® Supervisor and an EMDR Consultant-in-Training, and the co-host of the Neuroscience of Play Therapy Summit at the Beach. Dora is passionate about helping individuals of all ages heal from traumatic experiences and move towards a happier, healthier life. She has training and certifications in various areas, to include Sand Tray Therapy, TraumaPlayTM, Theraplay®, MAP, and the Safe & Sound Protocol.

Debra Wesselmann, MS, LIMHP has specialized in treating trauma and attachment problems in adults and children in private practice in Omaha, Nebraska for 33 years and co-founded The Attachment and Trauma Center of Nebraska. She is a trainer with the EMDR Institute and has conducted research on treatment methods for children impacted by attachment trauma. She has co-authored articles, chapters, and books related to attachment and trauma. She provides specialty workshops in the area of attachment with children and adults, and she has been invited to give workshops and keynotes at numerous conferences both nationally and internationally.

Susan Darker-Smith is an EMDR Europe Accredited Child & Adolescent Trainer (UK). Susan is actively involved in humanitarian work and is one of the founders for the Trauma Response Network UK alongside being a founding member of the Global Child-EMDR Alliance. Susan sits on the Council of Scholars and has recently contributed to a chapter in the EMDR Handbook (Oxford Press) on Children and Neurodiversity as well as a further chapter on the future of EMDR. Susan believes that it is possible to change the world : one client at a time.

Philip Manfield, Ph.D. is the developer of the flash technique, an intervention that permits the processing of trauma virtually painlessly. Developed in 2016 for use in the preparation phase of EMDR, it makes possible the processing of extremely disturbing memories that clients might otherwise be unwilling to address. In the past six years, eleven papers have been published supporting its effectiveness. Together with his colleague, Lewis Engel, PhD, he has presented introductions to the flash technique at five national and international conferences, conducted webinars and workshops in eleven countries in addition to the United States, and trained over 12,000 clinicians.

Sarah Jenkins, MC, LPC, CPsychol is an EMDRIA Approved EMDR Training Provider and Consultant. A life-long horsewoman with over 20 years’ experience as an EMDR therapist, she premiered EquiLateral™ the EMDRIA Approved protocol for integrating EMDR and Equine-Assisted Therapy to become Equine-Assisted EMDR (EA-EMDR). A trauma and dissociation specialist, Sarah’s expertise includes providing trainings/consultation for EMDR therapists in their work with complex clients, especially in the treatment of structural dissociation, including utilizing strategies from an animal-assisted EMDR approach. Prof Derek Farrell MBE – Psychologist at the University of Worcester (UK), and EMDR Europe Accredited Trainer & Consultant. Derek is the President of Trauma Aid Europe & Trauma Response Network Ireland. He has been involved in several Humanitarian Trauma Capacity Building programmes, including Pakistan, Turkey, India, Cambodia, Myanmar, Thailand, Indonesia, Poland, Philippines, and Palestine, with ongoing projects in Iraq, Lebanon, and Ukraine. Derek has authored over 50 academic peer-reviewed publications and several book chapters and is the Co-Editor of the Journal of EMDR Practice & Research. Finally, Derek has an international reputation as a conference speaker.

Roger Solomon, Ph.D. is a psychologist specializing in trauma and grief. He is Program Director of the EMDR Institute and teaches EMDR internationally. He is a consultant with the US Senate, and has provided consultation to law enforcement and government agencies, including the FBI, Secret Service, NASA, U.S. Army, and numerous public safety agencies. He has authored or coauthored 49 articles and book chapters pertaining to EMDR therapy, grief, complex trauma, acute trauma and first responder stress. In 2022, his book on EMDR therapy and grief and mourning was published in Italian and the English version currently in press.
